DESCRIPTION: An incredible 10 inch Japanese cloisonne vase with moriage and ginbari highlights. Signed on the base by the well known artisan Kawaguchi Bunzaemon. While Bunzaemon is not as well known as some other cloisonne makers, he is a true master. Mostly known for miniatures, which can bring many $1000s, this vase is something I've never seen. A full size (10") with incredible moriage leaves that remind you of Kawade Shibataro. While it is in damaged condition, it is still worthy of collection as it may be Bunzaemon's true masterpiece.
