DESCRIPTION: An excellent 7.25 inch tall early Meiji era Japanese cloisonne vase attributed to Namikawa Sosuke. It features a design of a wild parrot just landing on a branch with a colorful sunflower visible below left. The leaf and sunflower design continues around most of the vase. Semi-circular designs in top and bottom border. Set against a pale peach background.
