A rare, skeletonised quarter repeating hunting case pocket watch with automaton and 2 Jacquemarts "á trois couleurs" Case No. 15069, Dimensions 57 mm, circa 1820, Weight 129 g, Origin Schweiz Case: 18 K rose gold, guilloché pattern, reeded caseband, case maker punch mark "PHPI", slide for balance stop device. Dial: Enamel chapter ring, skeletonised centre showing two bell striking putti in three colour gold. Movm.: Full plate movement, keywind, 2 hammers, 2 gongs, three-arm brass balance, verge escapement. The two Jacquemarts, two winged putti in three-colour gold, strike the hours with their hammers on two bells that are visible in the upper half of the dial.
