Shima, Tamami (Japanese, 1937-1999), Game Fowl, 1959, color woodcut, signed, dated and titled in Japanese in pencil to the lower margin, image 21 x 14.75 inches, matted and framed 30 x 24 inches. Very little is known about this mid century female Japanese artist. Apparently she worked as a printmaker for less than 10 years and made no more than 60 prints.
