Pair of Japanese Arita 'Kraak Style' Porcelain Dishes, Edo, 1680-1700. Each painted in underglaze-blue with a view of a flower basket of three peony stems and grasses on a fenced terrace, surrounded by panels of alternating bamboo, peony and prunus, divided by narrow panels of scrolls, the reverse with alternating spirals and lines. Diam: 12.25 in., D: 2 in. Provenance: Property from a North Shore, Massachusetts Collection.
