I Made Arya Palguna’s distinct aesthetics explore the peaceful co-existence between humans and animals. A playful atmosphere is conveyed through simple devices including sweet treats, quilted garments, and amusing creatures. The butterfly acts as a metaphor for possibilities, hope and great change, while the lollipop candy hints at internal desires as a motivating force. Palguna’s visions speak of the fragments of our everyday lives, delving into a pathway of memories. The unique imaginary animal is a recurring element through Palguna’s charming body of work.
