A Chinese carved wood ceiling hanging or banner probably dating from late 20th century, each side set with three deeply carved panels all gilded, the first side with temple scene, dignitaries and numerous figures with the end panels depicting shelves of vases, the second side with another temple scene, dignitaries and horses with the end panels of flowers and birds, the banner with a painted foliate border, height 47cm length 230cm
