A late 19th/early 20th century work box with Chinese style black lacquer finish and decorated with building and landscape, the hinged top concealing a compartmented lift-out tray with painted lacquer work within, the basket recently re-upholstered in red fabric, on two turned legs and stout feet and stretcher stained black (height 80cm width 59cm depth 39cm)
