Tubular steel frame, painted, nickel-plated fittings, leather saddle. An exceptionally rare and museum-quality motorized bicycle (bicyclette à moteur) produced by the French manufacturer Alcyon. The model presented is the “Alcyonette”, equipped with a 1.5 hp two-stroke engine mounted centrally within the reinforced bicycle frame. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel via chain drive. The vehicle features a Mollet suspension fork, a leather “Brown” saddle, and a carbide headlamp. The original sales brochure for this model is included. Restored and visually in excellent condition; engine untested and not in running order, offered as a collector’s piece without registration. Bei dem Modell handelt es sich um eine „Bicyclette a Moteur Alcyonette“ mit einem 1,5-PS-starken Zweitaktmotor. Der Motor ist zentral im verstärkten Fahrradrahmen montiert.
