African Diary Goofy Storyboard Group (Walt Disney, 1945). This pair of storyboards is from the short, African Diary, which was directed by Jack Kinney, and animated by Eric Larson and Marc Davis. Goofy goes hunting in Africa in this short, which was originally titled Goofy's African Diary, according to storyboard one. The second storyboard features Goofy in hunting attire taking aim and asking "Do I have a permit to shoot a rhino?" Rendered in graphite and multi-colored pencil, each board has an image area of 8" x 7" and is taped to 5-peghole 12 field animation paper. Goofy is 7". In Very Good condition.
