A large, original cel used in the 1939 Walt Disney Silly Symphony cartoon, "The Practical Pig." This cel has Adler Pig, skipping with his fiddle, laid over the top of it's original hand-painted custom background. Practical Pig is a Silly Symphonies cartoon, released on February 24, 1939, and directed by Dick Rickard. It was the second-to-last Silly Symphony made, and the fourth and final cartoon starring The Three Little Pigs. Like its prequels, "The Practical Pig" incorporates the song "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?". In fact, it was the only 'Three Little Pigs' Silly Symphony animation that was credited as a "Three Little Pigs Cartoon". This iconic production cel been professionally framed with custom beveled, quadruple matting. Last sold by, "All American Collectibles, INC." with selling information on the back. Appears to be in Mint Condition; has been sealed in plastic and in the original shipping box since the time of original purchase. The original purchase price was $2,200.00, in 1992-93.
