Leon Kroll (1884-1974) Painter. Kroll was a leading artist, painting lush landscapes, cityscapes, figures and still lifes. His work commands some of the highest bid prices at auctions. 8 ½" x 11" typed letter to Kroll requesting his autograph, April 26, 1963, with an autograph note signed at the conclusion: "Thank you for your good opinion and your kind thoughts ... Leon Kroll."
