LIVERPOOL EARL OF: (1770-1828) British Prime Minister 1812-27. L.S., Liverpool, one page, 4to, Walmer Castle, 29th November 1825, to the Sub Dean of Gloucester. Liverpool acknowledges receipt of his correspondent's letter 'announcing to me the Death of the Dean of Gloucester' and sends thanks for the having made the communication. Some light overall age toning and a few minor traces of former mounting to the verso, otherwise about VG John Plumptre (1754-1825) Anglican Priest & Author, Dean of Gloucester 1808-25.
