Elegant French music half-cabinet, Louis XV style, Henry Dasson, Paris circa 1885-90 - (Henry Dasson, 1825-1896). Very fine half cabinet made of rosewood with palisander frieze and inlaid with diamond tips and decorative frieze. Rectangular body with indented cornice and rounded corners on a wavy-cut frame with curved legs. Front with two doors of different heights with Louvre doors in front of densely stacked shelves for music sheets, documents and autographs. Exceptionally fine, matt and bright gilded bronze fittings and sabots. Very elegant half cabinet of high quality and in very good condition. 145 x 72 x 40 cm
