The complete five volume set of the "Report of the Presidential Commission on the Space Shuttle Challenger Accident", signed by Executive Director of the Rogers Commission, Alton Keel, Jr. Keel would later serve as the United States Permanent Representative to NATO (1987-1989). His inscription appears in black ink on the half-title of Volume One: "Dear Mailer [?], This report is a small piece of history which hopefully contributed to the future success of U.S. and Western space initiatives. / A.
