A diverse archive of 13 pieces of vintage Hollywood ephemera and autographs spanning the 1930s–1960s. Included is an oversized newspaper photograph from the 1941 Maxwell Anderson drama Candle in the Wind at the Shubert Theatre, showing Helen Hayes and co-star Louis Borel, signed by both in ink. Accompanied by a three-page newspaper article titled “Helen Hayes and Charles MacArthur: Small Town Life,” which includes a full-page photo of Hayes roller skating with her daughter, signed in ink by Hayes. A set of four fold-out mini-posters from the 1930s–40s, approximately 11" x 6¾", depicts comedians W.C. Fields, Eddie Cantor, Will Rogers, and Fanny Brice. Additional signed items include a full-page magazine portrait of Jinx Falkenburg signed by torch singer Gertrude Niesen; a signed and inscribed full-page magazine image of Ann Miller in green ink; and an oversized candid photograph of Nelson Eddy and Rise Stevens in The Chocolate Soldier, signed and inscribed by Rise Stevens. Unsigned pieces include an original 8"x10" press photograph of flamenco dancer José Greco, stamped “Consolidated Concerts Corporation” on verso; an original 8"x10" studio image of Elvis Presley recording with The Jordanaires for Jailhouse Rock, with one page of the original press release; and a full-page from the 1967 Hollywood Reporter featuring Steve McQueen in The Sand Pebbles. Condition Good to fair condition. All items show varying degrees of wear and fragility. Some edge wear, creasing, and brittleness to paper noted.
