Collection of 28 original 1930s–1940s promotional photographs, each featuring a facsimile signature of a major male film star from the Golden Age of Hollywood. These glossy studio-issued prints were distributed by top studios like MGM, Warner Bros., 20th Century Fox, Paramount, Columbia, and more, and were offered to fans via mail-order, theater lobby sales, and exhibitor giveaways. Each measures approx. 8"x10", with a handful printed in sepia or lightly tinted tones. A few duplicates are included. These represent the golden-era heartthrobs, comedians, crooners, and cowboy heroes that filled theaters and fan scrapbooks for decades. They were salvaged by the theater’s manager throughout the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s, and have been preserved in the family’s private archive for decades.
