July 25th, 1784. A manuscript pay table document signed Oliver Wolcott Jun. Payment to the President of Fellows of Yale College. 4to, 1 leaf. Wolcott's signature is here a bit obscured by another on top of it (refer to photos.) Oliver Wolcott (1760-1833), Connecticut Governor, also served as the 2nd Unites States Secretary of the Treasury, under John Adams. He served as a member of the Connecticut Committee on Pay-Table from 1782 to 1784, and this document is apparently signed in that capacity. This group was responsible for accounting the state's military expenses during the Revolutionary War.
