John Riggins Washington Redskins autographed professional model football cleats c.1970-80s. Pair of Adidas white leather high top cleats as worn by John Riggins during his tenure with Washington in the late 1970s into the early/mid 1980s. "University" model (as stamped on side panel) cleats display the iconic Adidas three stripe dÈcor in maroon on each shoe custom painted as such over original stock issue color. Blue screened on Adidas insignia (blue variant) on each shoe tongue. Size is 11 1/2 with both cleats signed by Riggins in black sharpie adding "Game used" inscription. The cleats display very fine evident use including soiling and impact markings throughout. Includes auction LOA from JSA (autographs), LOA from Hunt Auctions (Cleats), and signed letter of provenance from John Riggins: EX
