October 13, 1985 John Riggins autographed Commemorative Game Ball (Final NFL Season). P.Rozelle NFL football having been presented to Riggins as the recipient of the game ball for Washington's 24-3 victory over the Detroit Lions. Riggins enjoyed one of the best games of his final NFL season rushing for 114 yards and scoring three touchdowns in the win. Riggins name and game details are hand painted onto white side panel and Riggins has signed the ball in silver paint pen on adjacent panel. Light general age wear including some minor paint crazing/flaking with slight deflation to the ball not affecting display qualities.
