This is an 8" x 10" photograph showing President John F. Kennedy presenting the Distinguished Service Medal to Astronaut Alan Shepard. The photograph has been hand signed by Alan Shepard on the bottom right corner. The photograph has been matted and is from a Limited Edition, numbered 1836/2500. The photograph is accompanied by a numbered US Historical Society card disclosing the history of the event. This item is in excellent condition with light dings along the edge of the matting.
