Group of four (4) original black and white film stills from The Fugitive (1947), directed by John Ford and released by RKO Radio Pictures. The stills feature key cast members Henry Fonda, J. Carrol Naish, and Dolores del Rio. Each still is stamped on the reverse by RKO studio photographers, including Alex Kahle, and depict scenes from the atmospheric adaptation of Graham Greene’s novel The Power and the Glory, which tells the story of a persecuted priest in a fictional Latin American country. The film was noted for its collaboration between John Ford and Mexican cinematographer Gabriel Figueroa, praised for its expressive lighting and use of shadows. Condition: All stills are in very good condition.
