Extensive promotional photo lot from The World of Suzie Wong (1960), a Ray Stark production released by Paramount British Pictures. Includes 14 original 8"x10" black-and-white publicity stills featuring stars Nancy Kwan and William Holden, including two striking solo portraits of Kwan in character. Also included is a complete set of 12 original 8"x10" color scene stills, each numbered and studio-issued to theater exhibitors. An exceptional complete grouping of promotional material from the film’s original release campaign. Provenance: Items in this lot were originally provided to the Fox Theater in Pittsburgh, Kansas, where they were displayed promotionally during film runs. They were salvaged by the theater’s manager throughout the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s, and have been preserved in the family’s private archive for decades. Condition: Excellent condition overall. All prints are clean with sharp imagery and only minor signs of age or handling.
