Alexander Hamilton n.p., n.d. but ca. late 18th C. (10) Strands of Alexander Hamilton's Hair, Beautifully Displayed! Hair Ten hair strands once belonging to American statesman Alexander Hamilton (1755/57-1804), each strand measuring between approximately 0.5" to 1.25" in length. The hair is beautifully presented in an attractive display measuring 8.5" x 11." The hair strands are dark blonde to brown in color, and are enclosed within a small plastic overlay in the upper right corner of the larger display. The bottom of the display is inscribed by John Reznikoff, University Archives founder, as: "This Lock of Alexander Hamilton's Hair is from my Guinness Book of World Records Collection purchased by me at Sloan's Auction in 1998 and is certified authentic. [Signed] John Reznikoff." Accompanied by provenance including correspondence and a statement of qualification from Allan Stypeck of Second Story Books. From The John Reznikoff Hair Collection, certified as the Largest Hair Collection according to the Guinness Book of World Records, 2014. Provenance: 1.
