LINDBERG (1920-2007) U.S. Marine who was part of the combat patrol that climbed Mount Suribachi and raised the first of two U.S. flags on the summit during the Battle of Iwo Jima. Lot of two S.P.s, each 8" x 10" b/w, identical images, one with the added notation: "1st Flag Raiser, Iwo Jima, Feb. 23, 1945, 10:30 AM". Fine.
