Offered to you is this original WW2 paratrooper aluminum helmet. The type and model are most similar to the Italian paratrooper helmets of the 1930s. This is highly likely a prototype model that was made in very limited numbers and was never mass produced, which makes it truly museum grade piece that would proudly take its place in any WWII collection. Heavily padded to prevent head injury, mesh vent holes, all original leather liner and straps. On the fabric which covers the ears there are special holes made for headphones. The paint on the outside is stripped but on the inside the original military feldgrau paint remains. For condition see photos. Much sought after piece. Scarce and highly collectable item.
