cut-and-thrust sword is marked "FCA De Toledo 1876" on the blade to indicate its origin (Toledo, Spain) and year of production (1876). The brass hilt features the crest of Spain, "Castile & Leon". The markings indicate that this is a gird sword of a Spanish infantry officer. Very good vintage condition, blade in hilt is tight. Blade: 31" Entire: 36.5"
