Cut-and-thrust sword is marked "Fab ca de Toledo 1901" on the blade, indicating its origin - made in Toledo, Spain, in 1901. It is a Spanish officer's sword and bears the initials "CDR" on the back, denoting the Carabineros Del Reino, the Carabiniers of the Kingdom. The bronze cross hilt features the crest of Castile & Leon. Very good vintage condition, blade in hilt is tight, crossguard is slightly lose. Blade: 29" Entire: 34.5"
