World War Two 41" x 27" one sheet Republic Films Patriotic United States Marine Corps Republic Films Studio movie poster - still lobby card poster for the 1949 film SANDS OF IWO JIMA. A blank 17.75" x 8.75" space, framed with a red and white star border, was available to affix a lobby card for this movie. "A Republic Picture" "Country of Origin U.S.A." and "35548" are printed at the bottom of the poster. Overall excellent - near mint condition. The movie, starring  John Wayne and  featuring John Agar, Adele Mara, and Forrest Tucker, follows a group of Marines from training to the Battle of Iwo Jima.  In-house shipping is available. Open pickup is Tuesday, Oct. 29 from Noon to 7 pm at our offices in Carroll, OH 43112 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. We charge $5/lot if you want to pick up a different day.
