This lot of 2 includes 1) Fireman's hat with silver FD buttons. It has size 7 sticker with leather sweatband and has Chicago marker G.A. Goebel with 1886 patent date. has dark blue wool body flat black visor and chinstrap with silver buckle. Strap and visor show much crazing. Wool body has couple on small moth nips on top. 2) fireman hat with silver FD buttonss. flat visor has much crazing and leather chinstrap has some crazing. Dark blue body gold wreath held with 4 prongs and "1" held with 2 prongs. Interior has worn away maker marker and quilted black cotton lining. Shows much wear and use with spots of light mothing.. Both hats appear to be from late 19th Century to very early 20th Century.
