Five WWI military photographs of German biplanes with pilots and other military personnel. Mounted on either side of two 11.5" x 8.5" album pages. Images of early fighter plans, one of which appears to be a 1917 Albatross D.Va, a favorite of Baron Von Richthofen, known as the Red Baron. One pictures a pilot wiping his face in front of his plane that crashed upside down with several officers examining the mishap; proud pilots pose in front of their planes and another group mull around a plane that appears to be refueling.
