Excellent Photo Album With Many Photos of the Saar Status Referendum Celebrated in January 1935. The album has dozens of very interesting photos of this important referendum for the III Reich where we can see an outburst of pro-German feeling. Aamong other things photos represent: night parades, decorated streets of the Saar with swastikas and flags, many important political leaders, SA and SS men marching in the streets, many decorated buildings, some anti-Semitic scenes such as a chubby puppet with a star of David burt down or panels with slogans or swastikas illuminated at night on the top of buildings. Also celebrations that took place when the referendum won the Yes to the annexation to German Reich. No photos are missing and it seem, due to the quality of the photos, that some other examples of this albums where distributed among important personalities in the Saar territories.
