A rare morphological type with a zoomorphic, lion-headed grip. The upper and lower parts of the scabbard are formed of silver plaques on black leather with finely chased decoration. One side of the tip shows a repelling dragon with a reptilian tail; the upper part bears the engraved date 1806. The grip features raised baroque motifs and a cross-shaped guard ending in shell forms, with an articulated guard strap with a double woven chain. The blade comes from an earlier European sword of the 16th–17th century with engraved Latin letters. length: 88 cm.
