An Ottoman yataghan affixed with horn grip scales in the characteristic style of the Zeybek people, with their flattened, horizontal, eared pommel. The border of the pommel and the spine of the blade are chased with geometric patterning. The forte of the blade is also stamped with two circular marks containing Arabic inscriptions.
