작품 상세

A stunning Indian Zaghnal, sometimes known as a crow's beak or crow-bill, with its head brightly decorated in gold damascene in floral and geometric patterns, and its haft completely covered with elongated hexagonal panels of mother-of-pearl set in a running brick pattern. The dagger-like axe-head has a slight downward curve, as well as four fullers to each side, two wide and two thin, that create an aesthetic similar to katar push daggers. India, 18th or 19th century.
