A very beautiful Waterman Ideal fountain pen, made of 14 kt gold. Provided with guilloche patterns. Fitted with a 14 kt gold nib. The pen was made around 1920. United Kingdom, Waterman, circa 1920, hallmarks: 585, Waterman's 14 ct, England, Ideal, oct. 17-16 can may 29-17 u.s.a. (patent date (1916 and 1917). In fair condition (ink sac inside not present). 31 grams. Barrel, cap and nib: 14 kt. (585/1000). Dimensions L 13.8 cm.
