The sheet is mounted to a mat and framed, the frame measures 111.5 x 92.2 cm. Gray Hume (b. 1962) Gary Hume completed his studies at Goldsmiths College in 1988. He is one of the Young British Artists, and was represented at the respective exhibitions like ‘Freeze’ in 1988, ‘West Country Yard’ in 1990, ‘Brilliant!’ in 1995 and ‘Sensation’ in 1997. He had his first success in 1988 with a series of life-size paintings in gloss colors, depicting hospital doors. Later he created paintings from colorful, flatly applied gloss colors on aluminum panels and with popular subject-matter. Gary Hume lives and works in London and New York.
