Irma Stern (south Africa/Europe, 1894 - 1966) matted and framed mixed media on paper portrait of a woman, signed to upper right "Irma Stern". Painted wood frame (with plexiglass pane) measures 20-1/2" in height with width of 17-1/4" and depth of 1-1/2" while sight image measures 11" in height with width of 7-3/4". Piece has not been examined out of frame but appears to be in overall good condition. All measurements are approximate. Opinion of attribution is based on many factors including Certificate of Authenticity when available, it is our recommendation that all lots be examined in person by prospective bidders or by a trusted expert they have asked to advise on the purchase. This is consistent with our terms of sale that all goods are sold as is and all sales are final.
