Sandy Kinnee (American, born 1947). Modern mixed media "Non Geomotric Kimono". Features painted hand made paper, in the form of a Japanese Kimono. Housed in a 31 in. x 29 in. x 2 in. lucite shadowbox frame. One of Sandy Kinnee's "Non Geometric Kimonos" is owned by the MET. These particular pieces were likely exhibited in 1980 at MoMA, in an exhibition curated by Miriam Shapiro. The most recent of this series was purchased by the Kirkland Museum.
