Inspired by ancient tapestry, digital media and science fiction, he has achieved an almost eerie and ambiguous aesthetic in Untitled 2005. Noonan combines analogue and digital techniques to step outside the expected trajectories of differing media to reveal an abstract and layered message, resonating profoundly with issues pertaining to identity, isolation and human condition.
