Dated and titled once more by the artist on the reverse on the backing cardboard and with a long inscription, numbered and stamped “Heimatmuseum of Modern Art. SCHMELZ near 6239 Germany“. • Robert Michel was one of the leading representatives of the German avant garde during the 1920s • This work uses his characteristic collage and spray techniques • From the important collection of Irwin Salmon Chanin, New York, whose wife was a friend of the artist Fixed in double-sided glazed frame.
