Vlastimil Zábranský was a Czech painter, graphic artist, draughtsman, caricaturist and set designer. His work is characterized by a soft and dreamlike handwriting combined with directness. The figures and faces of the girls are often the mediator of the message, and their sensuality is in direct contrast to the melancholic radiance.
