An adorable polychrome tufted puffin carved and incised from walrus tusk and accented with black, orange, and yellow pigment; a tuft of fur applied to the head completes the figure. Signed on the underside by Yup'ik artist Carson B. Oozeva, Sr. (1947-2017), of Gambell, St. Lawrence Island, Alaska. Measures approximately 1" x 1.5" x 3.25" tall.
