A very rare unrecorded painted model in colored lustre. Signed. A very rare Rosenthal porcelain figurine, modeled as a rider mounted on a rearing horse, in an unrecorded color version by Art Deco artist Hugo Meisel (1887-1966). Glazed lustre of cream with an unusual dappling to the horses body, with orange, yellow and other festive colors to the rider's Spanish costume. Incised signature H MEISEL to base.
