An 18th Century Tankard with pewter lid. The cylindrical body having a central reddish brown glazed frieze between groove turned yellow glazed bands. The domed pewter lid with petalled edge moulding, engraved with initials ELP and date 1738 and surmounted by a ribbed ball finialed thumb piece, 10¼'' (26 cm) high.
