Lot of two French Empire vases. France, 1840s-1850s. Porcelain, having a gilt ground, each oval vignette hand-painted with a cavalier and his sweetheart flanked by swan handles, height 30,5 cm (12 inches), base dimensions 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches).
