It is marked on the reverse. This unique piece of Weller pottery featuring President Ulysses S Grant is tinted a light blue color and is very hard to find. The Weller Pottery Company was a big hit at the 1904 World's Fair. The fair, held in St. Louis, celebrated the 100th Anniversary of the Louisiana Purchase. This souvenir plaque featuring President Ulysses S Grant was made and distributed free of charge. Other presidents featured were Washington, Lincoln, Jackson, T. Roosevelt, McKinley and Parker.
