This carved stool depicts a woman kneeling, one arm holding up the top of the stool over her head, the other holding a cup against her knee. She is nude, her breasts pointing directly outward. Her body displays scarification, carved into geometric designs. Her wrists are decorated with bracelet motifs. Brass tacks can be seen along the base, across the woman's body, along her face, within the child attached to her back, and set into the surface of the seat. The child is looking upward, holding onto the woman's shoulders, and bowlegged.
