A very nice Murano figure of a Bird with dark and white internal stripes. It is a Dino Martens Mezza Filligrana Bianca Nera figure for Aureliano Toso. The stripes are white and aubergine black, or black amethyst. The beak and eyes are also aubergine black. The stripes are internal and cannot be felt. This is a quality piece of Murano glass, circa mid 20th Century. Size - About 5 1/2" tall to the top of the bird's head and about 9" total length from the tip of the beak to the back of the tail. About 3" wide through the body.
