Antique Cut Glass Vanity Powder Jar with Ornate Sterling Silver Monogrammed Lid, c. 1900–1920, Lid weighs 66.46 GRAMS, A nice antique vanity or dresser jar featuring a heavy, deeply cut clear glass body with a faceted, octagonal form and starburst-cut base. The jar is topped with an ornate sterling silver lid, richly engraved with scrolling foliate decoration and a central monogram (appears to be stylized initials, possibly “E D A”). The interior retains its original silk-lined powder puff, a desirable survival that enhances both display and collector value. The glass exhibits fine craftsmanship with crisp cuts and strong clarity, typical of late Victorian to Edwardian-era dressing table accessories.
